Terms and Conditions

In these Terms and Conditions, the expressions “Lurene Jewellers”, "we", "us" and "our" are a reference to Lurene Jewellers. 

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully for the supply of goods through the Lurene Jewellers online store (www.lurenejewellers.com.au) before accessing or using our website. By accessing and/or using any part of the site, you engage in our ‘Service’ and you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions (‘terms of use’ ‘terms’) and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts entered into by Lurene Jewellers, and to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content and all associated websites linked to the Lurene Jewellers Website (www.lurenejewellers.com.au). 

By placing your order with us you are accepting these Terms and Conditions. Where you do not accept these Terms and Conditions in full, you do not have permission to access the contents of this website and should cease using it immediately. 

Changes

We aim to update our site regularly, and may change the content at any time, including but not limited to the product details, pricing, terms and conditions and privacy policy without notice, we therefore recommend a regular visit to this page and an understanding that it is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. By continuing to access the site you are accepting and consenting to these Terms and Conditions, and signifying your agreement to any modified content.

Contract

No contract will exist between you and Lurene Jewellers for the sale of any product until Lurene Jewellers has accepted and dispatched your order. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. Only those aged 18 & over are entitled to enter into these legally binding contracts.  We reserve the right to cancel any order without giving reason or notice and will refund you the full amount in the method in which it was paid. 

Lurene Jewellers reserves the right not to accept your order, in the event that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, if shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, if the item ordered does not meet our quality control standards and is withdrawn, out of stock or if there is an error in pricing or content.

Whilst every precaution is taken to display the correct information on our site, on the rare occasion the site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. Lurene Jewellers reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). 

Lurene Jewellers are under no obligation to honour the lower advertised price. Once an incorrect price has been brought to our attention, we will remove the item and amend the price. We will then provide you the opportunity to decide on whether you would like to continue with the purchase of the item for the updated price.  We may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses arising from not accepting your order and we shall have no liability to you, by way of compensation, other than to refund the amount paid for the goods in question. 

Payment

Lurene Jewellers accepts payments in the form of: Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Gift Cards, Zip Pay, Zip Money and Paypal. 

In order to make purchases on the Site you will be required to provide your personal details. In particular, you must provide your correct name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Furthermore, you will be required to provide payment details that you represent and warrant are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing Information entered and provided by you on the Checkout page or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the payment account to use it. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. 

We do NOT store your credit card information on our database. 

The prices payable for ordered goods are as set out in our website in AUD (Australian Dollars). All prices are inclusive of the AUD GST. Delivery charges will be clearly displayed when selected and included in the total cost.

Cancellation

At Lurene Jewellers we understand the importance of receiving your special item within the quickest timeframe possible and therefore we endevour to send your stocked item out within 1-2 business days (this does not include ‘special orders’ or ‘repairs’ as these require a longer timeframe to complete). For this reason any request to cancel your order must be made within 24 hours after full payment has been made to ensure your request is met. Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Lurene Jewellers will be completed when the goods have been dispatched and cancellation can no longer take place. In the event that you still wish to cancel your item/s after the 24 hour period and the item has been dispatched and received by you, the item will then be deemed a return and our Returns Policy will apply.

To cancel your order you must notify us of your decision by email to lurenejewellers@gmail.com, using the subject heading ‘Cancellation’ and supplying your order number and address.  

Privacy

We may ask you to provide a testimonial in respect of the Site, goods and / or services of Lurene Jewellers for either your online or in-store purchase. You do not have to provide a testimonial. If you do, you agree that we may use your testimonial on our Site, social media pages and / or other media formats.

Third-Party Links

Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third-parties.

We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites.

Please review carefully the third-party’s policies and practices and make sure you understand them before you engage in any transaction.

Damaged/Faulty

If you should receive an item that is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us and we will help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible. All returned items are subject to inspection by our quality assurance team before a decision is made and Lurene Jewellers reserves its right to either:

  • have the faulty or defective product repaired and delivered to you at our cost
  • have the faulty or defective product replaced for the exact model and arrange delivery to you at our cost or
  • have the faulty or defective product refunded to you

Branded products: As an authorised reseller (not manufacturer) of various brands, Lurene Jewellers, will rely on the expert technical opinions from its partners (manufacturers) in regard to conditions, operation and repair when determining whether a refund, replacement or repair of an item is justified.

We will confirm the return address if ordered online in writing, once you have contacted us about the fault. 

Intellectual Property

The content of this website, includes brands, various jewellery designs, photographs, logo, and other intellectual property rights, that you must agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, distribute, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear in-store. We cannot guarantee your computer monitor’s display of any item will be an accurate depiction of the colour of our stock item. Therefore it is your responsibility before making the decision to purchase whether you are happy to proceed with the advertised piece or if you would like to visit the store for an inspection of the item.

Chains may be displayed on images of the product; however they are sold separately unless specified in the product description.

Delivery

Lurene Jewellers offers free delivery within Australia for any purchases over $100 AUD. For further information regarding Delivery please refer to our Delivery Policy here.

Exchanges and Returns

Lurene Jewellers will happily exchange but do not refund for Change of Mind purchases within 14 days of purchase provided a copy of your order confirmation email is inside the package and less any delivery costs. This excludes earrings which cannot be exchanged or refunded for health and hygiene reasons unless required to do so under the Australian Consumer Law. Special Orders

We allow a 4-5 week completion period on all our Special Orders (commissioned pieces). The time taken in our manufacturing process means you will receive a high quality, luxury product that ensures longevity. We want you to love your jewellery purchase as much as we loved creating it for you and thank you in advance for your patience.

While we do our best to meet the stated timeframe Lurene Jewellers will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or expenses arising from not completing your order in the specified timeframe and we shall have no liability to you, by way of compensation. Lurene Jewellers will notify you 1 week in advance if for any unforeseen circumstance your order would be delayed.

Gift Cards

Lurene Jewellers Gift Cards can be purchased in-store or online and are valid for a 3 year period from the date of purchase. If your Gift Card is misplaced or stolen unfortunately we are unable to replace your card and so to avoid disappointment please always treat your Gift Card as cash.

Goods purchased using the Gift Card are subject to Lurene Jewellers Exchange and Refunds Policy which can be found here.

Credit Note

Lurene Jewellers Credit Notes are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
