Returns and Delivery

In this Exchange and Refund Policy, the expressions “Lurene Jewellers”, "we", "us" and "our" are a reference to Lurene Jewellers.

At Lurene Jewellers we hope you will be absolutely delighted with your new jewellery purchase, yet understand that sometimes it may not be quite what you were looking for. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will do our best to accommodate your needs and endevour to help make this process as easy as we can. 

Please refer to our list below regarding any Exchange or Refunds:

Exchange

  • Lurene Jewellers will only exchange goods when returned in an “as new” condition with the original product tags, packaging and all paperwork (such as proof of purchase, diamond certificates and/or watch instruction booklets) and within 14 days of purchase. Include a copy of your order confirmation email in the package and less any delivery costs. Definition of 'As New Condition': The item must not have been worn and must be in pristine condition with no damage, scratches, or signs of wear.
  • The cost of returning an item for exchange is at the expense of the purchaser and should be sent as a registered package to:

  • An exchange may be provided in the form of a Credit Note which is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
  • Only one single exchange is permitted, including during any lay-by period whereby the exchanged item/s is of equal or greater value than the original total purchase amount.
  • Items purchased from our online store (lurenejewellers.com.au) can be returned to our Store in Cherrybrook at the above address. Please ensure that you take a printed copy of your order confirmation email in-store to confirm your purchase details.
  • Items purchased from our Cherrybrook store may only be returned in-store.
  • When you return an item for an exchange that has been bought using a Gift Card you will be issued with a new Gift Card (which will be a physical Gift Card if you return your item instore, or an e-Gift Card sent to you via email if you return your item to online).
  • Lurene Jewellers do not exchange on ‘special orders’ (commissioned pieces).
  • Lurene Jewellers do not exchange any items that have been modified, altered or adjusted from their original condition including watches.
  • Lurene Jewellers do not exchange earrings due to health and hygiene reasons, unless required to do so under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Lurene Jewellers do not exchange items on “sale” for “change of mind”.

Refunds

  • Lurene Jewellers will only refund if required to do so under Australian Consumer Law.
  • All items purchased as a “sale” item, “special order” or you’ve had a “change of mind” will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Due to health and hygiene reasons, Lurene Jewellers cannot refund earrings unless required to do so under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • In the event of a faulty item, all returned items are subject to inspection by our quality assurance team before a decision is made and Lurene Jewellers reserves its right to either:
    • have the faulty or defective product repaired and delivered to you at our expense
    • have the faulty or defective product replaced for the exact model and delivered to you at our expense or
    • have the faulty or defective product refunded to you
  • Branded products: As an authorised reseller (not manufacturer) of various brands, Lurene Jewellers, will rely on the expert technical opinions from its partners (manufacturers) regarding conditions, operation and repair when determining whether a refund, replacement or repair of an item is justified.
  • Where Lurene Jewellers agrees to provide you with a refund, a refund will be processed in the same way you initially paid for your order and:
    • within 10 days of receiving your returned item if purchased online
    • immediately if purchased in-store.
  • Lurene Jewellers will not be responsible for the time taken by an institute to return the funds to you and reserve the right to refund to you the amount less any delivery charges and commission already paid to the relevant financial institution managing the transaction including, but not limited to, your credit card provider, ZIP Pay and ZIP Money.
  • The cost of returning an item is at the expense of the purchaser and should be sent as a registered package to:

  • If the return is the result of our error and you would like a refund, please contact Lurene Jewellers on (02) 9484 8625 during business hours or at lurenejewellers@gmail.com to make suitable arrangements.
  • Items purchased from our online store (lurenejewellers.com.au) can be returned to our Store in Cherrybrook at the above address. Please ensure that you take a printed copy of your order confirmation email to store to confirm your purchase details.
  • Items purchased from our Cherrybrook store may only be returned in-store.

Delivery

  • Lurene Jewellers offers free delivery within Australia for any purchases $100 AUD or greater.
  • All orders under $100 AUD will incur a flat fee of $13 AUD for regular shipping or $16 AUD for express shipping within Australia.
  • Lurene Jewellers will provide you with tracking details for your purchase once the item has been dispatched.
  • Signature on delivery is required for your security.
  • Lurene Jewellers cannot ship to PO Boxes.
  • Please allow 1 – 3 business days from dispatch date for express shipping within Australia depending on your location, and 3 – 6 business days from dispatch date for regular shipping. Unfortunately, some orders may experience a delay from the carrier and Lurene Jewellers will not be responsible or liable for the time taken by a carrier to deliver your order.
  • Orders requiring ring sizing take up to Four (4) additional business days to complete.
  • International delivery prices and timeframes will vary depending on your delivery destination.
  • If you are receiving your order outside of Australia, you will be responsible for all taxes/duties incurred through the customs department of the country to which you are shipping. It is possible for some orders to experience a delay in customs. Unfortunately, we have no control over this and cannot be held responsible. We kindly ask that you contact your local customs agency if necessary.
  • Returns to Lurene Jewellers: you will be responsible for the item(s) until they reach us as we cannot be held responsible for items that become lost or damaged during your return postage to us, therefore we suggest you use a secure delivery service which requires a signature for proof of receipt.
